Abstract

The impact of emotional intelligence on employee performance is the focus of this research. How Locus of Control affects how well employees perform. Employee performance at CV. Irma.Zuita Tangerang is simultaneously influenced by emotional intelligence and Locus of Control . Quantitative associative is the method used in this study. According to the findings of this study, when multiple linear analysis is used, a constant value of 1.951 is produced. This means that even if the variables measuring emotional intelligence and Locus of Control remain constant or approach zero, the employee performance created will remain at 1.951. It can be concluded that the variables of emotional intelligence with Locus of Control have an effect on employee performance based on the results of the t test of the emotional intelligence variable to employee performance which obtained a value of Thitung (6,358) > Ttabel (2,052), and the results of the t test of the Locus of Control variable to employee performance which obtained a value of Thitung (6,358) > Ttabel (2,052). The results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2) obtained results of 0.901 (90%) which indicates that the variables of emotional intelligence and Locus of Control have an effect of 90% on employee performance while the remaining 10% is influenced by other factors. The significant test results obtained a correlation value of emotional intelligence of 0.000 while Locus of Control is 0.000, which means that the influence of these variables is very strong.
